Roland White started his art career in 1968 as a Potter. Throughout his career he was well know for his decorative eastern style brush painting on exquisite high fired Stoneware and Porcelain pottery.

Midway in his career was able to experience watercolor painting and he has continued that interest producing new paintings in the last several years.

His art work is a reflection of the natural world. He strives to create images that connect the viewer with nature.

Utilizing traditional and new techniques he brings vibrancy to his works and his paintings reveal layers of depth, texture, substance and light.

He has lived near the ocean and mountains in his life and his art is influenced by the natural beauty of his surroundings.

Roland utilizes traditional and new techniques in his paintings. In addition to high quality transparent watercolor pigments he uses Aqua Media materials, such as watercolor pencil crayons and wax resist and also uses embossing, metal pigments, unusual brushes and other materials to create his paintings.

During his art career he gained recognition regionally and nationally by showing his pottery and watercolors in prestigious NW Art Galleries, Museums and Shows

I focus on enriching your musical journey and making it a positive experience playing the
Fiddle or Mandolin for whatever type of player you are. All students are encouraged to improve
techniques such as right and left hand, bowing, picking, intonation and phrasing.

If you are just learning an instrument I can get you started. If you have some experience then I can focus on your immediate concerns. After the Initial assessment of your playing level, I prepare a plan for your lessons, that with practice will improve your playing every week.
